Current I will not celebrate mediocrity. I will not worship empty shells. I will not listen to worthless noises. I will not subject myself to selected predictable choices. I will not be bought or sold.

I suppose it depends on how large of a group you prefer. Honestly, depending on the game the larger the group the harder it is to keep things flowing smoothly. Over the years when it came to collaborative writing small groups work best. Hell, even Dungeons and Dragons gets a big unattractive when the group is more than five or six.

Your call. I think four or five would be perfect. Post a link to the OOC please?
@Vampiretwilight

I appreciate the time taken. I presume my infatuation has remained beyond its popular life span.

But we shall see how well I do.
This is definitely a tall glass of water for a return from a very long vacation from this site. But I'll throw my card in the hat. Is there an IC/OOC post made yet?

I'll keep an eye out.
Greetings,

As you may presume, I am no one of particular merit.

I find myself with a certain amount of free time these days which may afford me the opportunity to take up writing once again. It has been quite some time since I took the time to write. But I figure trying my hands at role playing once again may be more useful to me than trying to tackle something such as a book idea or world building concept on my own.

If anyone has a thread they are trying to fill or some guidance for something fantasy fiction-esque (i.e., final fantasy, diablo, D&D, Elder Scrolls etc...) shot me a link. Otherwise, I'll just lurk in the shadows until I find something to stick with the pointy end.
@Kal

Well to my disappointment I do not think I will be compiling a character sheet at this time. I do not have a preferred measure to go by... I will say I am more than interested in the class of either Vampire, Revenant, or Dragon. This can be nailed down in the future once I actually get a character sheet to work with. I haven't checked the other tabs. Is there an ETA on when things will get moving along?..._
Valar Morghulis...

I'm glad to know that my spot has been solidified by my participation in the interest check. Life is... life is difficult to say the least. Honesty may be the best policy but it doesn't always provide the best results. Or maybe it does. Such things have yet to be seen. On any accord, I'm going to peruse the original post and see what is up before I try to compile some resemblance of an appropriate character sheet.

Wish me luck..._
@Kal

I don’t want to sound like that guy, but how is the pregame work coming? This is literally the only thing I have going on right now...
@Hank

I do enjoy Elder Scrolls. Started with Morrowind many moons ago, and I still play Skyrim with one of its 57 releases. Is there an ES rp looking for members you may know of?
I'll keep an eye on this post. It sounds remotely interesting to me.
Valar Morghulis,

I have returned. I am betting it is to no one's concern. Some of you may remember me but I've most likely failed to impact any particular individual to that extent. Quite frankly, it is my wheelhouse. I'm on the verge of eating a bullet, and I look for solace in the one thing that has - to a certain extent - always been there for me. That is writing. In no means is this a cry for help, although kind words or a simple conversation would be appreciated as my best friend is my four years old daughter. Beyond that, the coronavirus has consumed another relationship and nearly destroyed another household. Kudos American government for dropping the ball yet again. But enough of that dribble. I'm sure no one cares and quite frankly, it's monotonous dribble with little literary or entertainment value.

So what am I in search of upon this return? Most importantly, to remove the rust from these knuckles and hone the skills that were once as sharp as a Masamune blade. I suppose in turn I would eventually like to return to actually working on a novel of some sort or at least trying to finish that which I have left in the editing stage for nearly eight years now. My plan to accomplish this feat is simple and it is something you all could help me with. I typically prefer medieval fantasy (Dragonlance/ Forgotten Realms) and the like, so if anyone is aware of some threads with similar characteristics, please point the finger. As it were, I would not mind partaking in anything at this point simply to get the gears turning.

This particularly lackluster introduction has become too tedious to continue. I'll bore you all no further. Kudos on the implementation of the improved spellcheck feature. It is quite impressive.
