The Combaticons Swindle, Onslaught, and Brawl were driving through a human settlement. Their mission was to locate a source of significant energy that Soundwave had detected. Of course, three different military vehicles of an unknown and alien origin were sure to arouse suspicion, but the advantage of it being night was that they would be slightly less noticeable. Their one goal was to find the energy source and obtain it. Once obtained, the energy source could be used to create Energon to power their temporary base.
