Italy's vastly behind in technology compared to Spain and Germany, many sections of the Air force and Army(Minus the Alpini, they are roughly on par) are still below their WW2 counterparts.

So on the subject of Italian weapons... You most likely will want to get German ones instead, because anything that Italy has that [i]is[/i] good will not get sold. They need it for themselves, after all.
