I am partly basing this off of Ducky's application, since he claimed that in the 50s Serbia broke from Yugoslavia, taking Montenegro and Kosovo along with it due fear that revolution occurs from the Yugoslavian communist/ "socialists", along with the fact that in 1978 Yugoslavia dissolved. 

By recent, I meant as in "new" to the country which had been largely dominated by Austria-Hungary from the late 19th century and the Serbian dictatorship in the 20th century. The political belief was pretty much neglected. (Or probably just an accidental mistake on my part.)

I didn't mention much about Macedonia or Albania (not part of the former Yugoslavian countries, but it is fairly close). Judging by the lore map, I'm assuming that it was claimed by Serbia.
