Mercy Mercy leant her lower arms on the bar, turning to Darwin as he offered both Garden and herself a handle. “Thank you!” She chirped happily, instantly segregating a few colors in her hand purple to her fingertips green to the bottom of her palm all other colors remained at the center as she gripped a few and popped them in her mouth, chewing quite contently. “I’m sorry honey; this world must be very different from your own hmm?” Mercy stated to Garden, she didn’t mean literal worlds. “But don’t be sad about it, experiencing new things is good for you it’s the variety of life you may as well embrace the different whilst you’re here...speaking of I think I’ll have what you’re having as well it sounds like a perfect beach drink” Mercy smiled broadly at Garden, she wasn’t sure whether her speech had made Garden feel better or not, she hoped she had but she felt it may take more to help the young girl out of her shell. I must ask her about where she comes from, I get the feeling it’d be an interesting place to learn about Mercy continued to smile, looking over at Darwin as he piped up. “So you caught a squid within 5 minutes of fishing?” She queried her eyebrows jolting up in surprise. “Wow...I know people that have spent hours trying to catch something and come back empty handed” She stated. “An anime watcher, oh good! I’ve always been interested in it but my companions know so little about it I feared it would have to remain an uncharted hobby” Mercy grinned at Darwin, of course an anime addiction would have to trump her collection of timeless classic books. She quickly tipped the purple skittles into her mouth, chewing quickly for a moment before she turned to finish off the last of her skittle piles...the green ones, of course saving the best til last as she slowly made her way through them. Mercy turned her attention to the barman now knowing the 3 of them would partake in taste testing Garden’s fruit smoothie choice it made her job easier. “I’ll have the same as these two” Mercy stated, noting the bartender was cleaning a glass...which was a rather common sight among bartenders that and he seemed to be a large mechanical build. Her eyes instantly scoured the length of his body alight with an emotion she had yet to portray complete fascination, her eyes lingering on the joins along the length of its body endless scientific questions popping up in her mind. But the way its formed suggests...Fiddlesticks your staring at it like a tiger ready to pounce and you’re allowing your ‘Nerd’ out, what kind of etiquette does that promote? Mercy withdrew her wandering gaze thinking better than to question the bartender on its current form, it would be rude and she wouldn’t want to cause offense. It was then she noticed another person had approached them; she caught the undesirable scent of smoke before she actually laid eyes on the person who had approached them she offered the boy a warm smile trying to ignore the offensive cloud of smoke that he blew into the air. Ah that would be a troublesome scent to erase from my hair... She thought, considering said hair reached her lower thigh it wasn’t the easiest thing to wash, she was momentarily distracted by the fact she had failed to tie the unruly locks back today, she’d have to before engaging in any fun...she was relieved when she heard Darwin pipe up behind her, she realized she had very rudely remained quiet just staring at the boy, she quickly shook the offered hand with a bright smile. “Nice to meet you, Dendus” She spoke enthusiastically. She turned to look at the colorful gentleman behind her for moment smiling at him gratefully. “I’m not sure, perhaps you should ask?” Mercy suggested to the boy. “We’re partaking in smoothie tasting, thanks to Lady Garden” Mercy told him, with a smile directed at Garden, she had no idea Dendus could possibly be older than her she automatically assumed she was older than all of them. Sometimes she acted as though she was 10 years older than she was! “Speaking of, do any of you have plans for today?” She asked, lifting a hand to run her fingers through her hair before tucking it behind her ear to stop it from falling in her face, she was watching the bartender out of the corner of her eye, her curiosity wouldn’t allow her not to!
