[/quote] For some of the time, yes. :lol Being able to act in-character, even in situations your character would've never had to face, is just one of the most amusing things about cosplay. I remember I went to that con with a friend of mine who came as the TARDIS, and, at one point, I lost her in the crowd. In all honesty I wasn't that concerned about tracking her down again - I could always text her and ask where she went or w/e - but instead I went with my Crona mindset and acted all panicky saying "The TARDIS left without me! I don't know how to deal with this!!" And I was quickly comforted by a group of kind strangers who tried to convince me that the Doctor would come back for me any minute. I hung out with them for a while and started making small-talk while remaining in-character. Somehow I wound up telling them a bit about myself, and my mother, and my weapon... And it quickly dawned on me that none of them had ever seen Soul Eater as their eyes grew rather wide listening to all the details. :hehe
