Hugely. When I was a teen, most of my music was stuff like Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Blink 182, Sum 41, and assorted music in a similar vein. The only bands of those that I still listen to outside of 1-3 songs worth of nostalgia is The Offspring and older RHCP, and even then both those bands are "sometimes." Oh, and Billy Talent has always been a big one, still is when I'm in the mood.

Now my most listened to bands are Suidakra, Alestorm, Turisas, Powerwolf, Amon Armarth, and Nightwish. Rounding it out is assorted metal, classic and contemporary rock, punk rock, oddballs I enjoy listening to, and even occasionally the odd folk tune and rap song.
