Sky High Principal Powers smiled softly, slowly floating into the middle of the massive gym that would act as the 'Welcoming Ceremony' and 'Power Placement' for the new freshmen that would be entering not even a few hours into the future. She waved a nimble hand through her short brown hair, giving the large room a quick observation. It was grand - twice the size of the regular gym, with a circular platform in the middle of the floor, where she was standing. "I cannot wait for this new year to start!" she grinned, pressing a button that suddenly appeared in her hand, accompanied by a blast of energy. The platform she stood on shifted into the air, over-looking the staff that worked hard to make the room Ceremony-worthy. "It shall be...grand." A mysterious smile overcame her features. ---- Zed "Finally..." The black-haired teen continued his steady walk down the narrow, relatively empty street. For his chosen 'school-wear', he wore his standard black leather jacket, with a white skull on the back, dark gray Under Armour, dark blue jeans, white sneakers, and a black laptop bag. His apparel wasn't chosen by his mother - she had wanted him to wear some odd spandex suit that was oddly reminiscent to the one 'Danny Phantom' wore in that odd cartoon - he forgot the name, but he had resisted, finally being able to wear his own clothing. The skull meant something to him. It was a reference to his powers, and the 'alias' he was going to choose once he graduated. Zed continued the short walk, thankful that no one bothered him on his way to one of the many Sky High bus stops. There were many dotting around Metro City, although he had decided to use the urban one only a few miles away from his home. The teenager resisted a small smirk once he caught the rather noticeable sign. "Sky High. Psh. Totally not obvious..." he muttered, resting on the large oak bench that rested right in front of the gaudy sign. Zed's eyes traveled towards the package of bus schedules, and he reached over, his index finger extending and wrapping around the flimsy paper. Retracting it, Zed quickly glanced over the brochure before crumbling it up and casually flicking it into the air. "The 'bus' should be here in around 30 minutes, huh?" Zed whispered, resting his head on his backpack, while a long, thin razor-sharp bone suddenly blasted from his shoulder, piercing the still airborne ball of paper. He absent-mindedly broke the bone off at the base, his jacket repairing itself from the small hole. "This is going to be a long 30 minutes..." He brought his arm back, before throwing it forward, the bone spear travelling through the air at a blurring speed, and burying itself into a tree at least a mile away.
