Even though her vision looked like she was underwater, she could make out the smashed and twisted remains of a lifepod, with daylight streaming through the cracks. Along with the sounds of combat from outside. With another groan, she heaved herself to her feet, and looked around for her lasgun, which by now was hidden under a buckled metal plate with only the stock visible. With a good, solid wrench, Serah freed her weapon from the debris, and, mindful of the fact that she could barely stand, staggered out of the remains of the pod, looking for the source of the problem.
