The lowering wall made all three of the guests flinch ever slightly, just enough to be noticed by the most watchful of individuals. Carmen was not perfect at hiding her mindset, though it quickly became clear that Jessibelle was acting in her best interests. Outside of the chamber, her six-limbed construct continued to wait, watching in no particular direction.as it rested upon its giant claw. "As private as I can make it," she nodded, retaining calmness in her voice if not her eyes. "It should be no problem should I need to disclose anything more; I am seeking refuge after all, not enemies." Again the queen took uncannily well to her request - and somewhat caught Carmen off-guard with her sudden informality. Putting two and two together, the guest easily deduced the former was how she was expected to speak in public, thus it appeared the chamber was not only for her own benefit. "And you are not asking for anything in return?" was her only query, now crossing her arms where she sat. Jessibelle had already expressed her generous ethics, but Carmen could never be too sure.
