Mario After the unidentified flying object (or rather the unidentified falling object) struck the ground, the aftershock drove Mario to the ground. Once he had regained his senses and focus, Mario realized that his head was only inches away several construction quality nails. If Mario had fallen any farther, his face would have been planted into the sharp edges of these nails. “What the hell did I tell you all? We should not have gone into this abandoned construction site. There is a reason why it is closed off. I just almost got a face full of nails!” Mario cut himself off once he realized that everyone’s attention was toward the strange UFO*. This vessel seemed to have been in pretty bad shape, with wires flowing out from the interior of the ship and smoke billowing out from any crevasses that had been created during the crash. However, despite all this damage, this grounded vessel somehow had not exploded yet, completely tearing the whole ship apart. Then Mario saw Max attempting to find a fractured opening in the hull of the ship in order to pry whatever or whoever was trapped inside the ship. However, Mario saw several scenarios in which calamity would strike. What if the hull was still overheated, causing anyone who touched it to received severe 3rd degree burns, if not worse? What if whatever or whoever was inside of the crashed vessel was actually hostile towards them? What if there was a reason that this ship had a crash landing? “Max!” Mario shouted, “Don’t touch it! You don’t know how hot it is! You could fry off your hands if it’s hot enough.” --- *UFO = Unidentified Flying Object / Unidentified Falling Object. My usage here does not hold the connotation that the craft has to be extraterrestrial.
