It would take some convincing to drive him off, though if the statement held any truth, perhaps a hasty retreat would be best. The last thing he wanted from this little adventure was to bring trouble back home. He wanted to wait a bit first, to see how long she would hold to the threat. The Fae prince bowed. "A pleasure, Miss Laura. And you're certainly welcome to scream, if you think it would help. I know my own escape routes, but it would be a shame to cut off this meeting so soon." Straightening up, he walked a slow circle around her, keeping his distance in case she did try something. The Fae may be feared by humans, but he knew that they had their own tricks as well. "I don't even remember the last time I met a human. They truly are fascinating."
