Ken finished his stretch and politely waited for everybody else in his row to file out, since he was the last and didn't want to cut anybody off on the way. As he glanced towards the window, sun streaming through and illuminating a certain black haired individual he didn't care to know, something changed The light bent and distorted, literally warping before his eyes to a sharply downward angle, being absorbed directly into the ground, his eyes followed the path of light and, in the ground he saw something incredulous. A dark reflection of everything in the room, as the floor was made of polished silver, but with no people reflected, instead independently moving creatures, dark and vile, scurried along apparently underground. One looked up and made eye contact with him. No! Don't look at them! Feeling himself gripped by fear, an emotion he wasn't even familiar with, he grabbed ahold of his desk for support and covered his eyes with his other hand. Within his mind more than his ears, a strange voice echoed. "This... Is the Hour of Reflection" The words resonated within his thoughts, sticking around a bit longer than Ken felt they should. What is this? this can't be happening! And as soon as it began, Ken felt a change in the world, tentatively he uncovered his eyes, seeing everything back to normal. With a start, he realized he felt tears on his hand. No! Stupid Stupid Stupid! Baka Baka Baka! Why didn't I realize it? That's the Lhermitte effect dammit, Ken took a deep breath and tried to collect himself Awareness is the key to beating it, but how did I get infected? It's the first day, and I haven't seen anybody else suffer it Ken unconsciously looked around the room and realized, some other people had been suffering it. Right now they had suffered it. A handful of other people in the classroom had similar looks on their faces to his, and he put the pieces together. It seemed most of the people in the class had left, not really caring about the other students having a hallucinatory episode. Ken decided to put away his feelings about people for now and take the initiative. Research first, solution second He thought as he tried to take the front of the classroom in a way that seemed authoritative and in control. "Alright, Something weird just happened, this bears investigation,"
