Hey there, good folks of the internet! My name is Cthylla - well, not really, but it's the truth for purposes of this site - and I've come in hopes of finding new RP community. I mostly enjoy action and horror, but exploring relationships between the characters can be fun as well. Actually, I'll give chance any genre aside from the typical slice-of-life boarding school whose appeal I simply don't get. Where is the fun in returning mentally exhausted from classes, switching on the computer and... writing about how mentally exhausted from classes my character is? I wanna moral dilemmas, difficult choices, bloodbaths and excitement, not whining over how professor XYZ doesn't treat me fairly. This rant aside, I'm actually a fairly easygoing person, so feel free to message me if you wanna start some roleplay. :)
Welcome to the Board. And as i am one of those annoying people (as i play in all types of role plays) i can probably help explain (from my point of view) why people make it. Most boarding school ideas are usually made with the concept of a deeper more meaningful story. (The ones i join atleast.) Then there is also the aspect that they aren't for the reason of school. When i play them i don't see myself in school or anything. It's just another Rp to rp in. In fact, on major board (ones dedicated to a single rp i mean) i've come across more active boarding school stuff then not. In short, generally it's just to live out the life of your character, just like you do in any other rp. It just hovers generally around more character development over violence i guess (depending on the rp haha) haha :P that's about all i can really put into it. As i don't look so deep into them as one would. Regardless of it all. Welcome again to the board =D i hope you find what you are looking for in this community~
