Nobody's shot seemed to have hit the shooter bad enough for him to seize his fire. While Kjolmar's whirlwind landed the plane, he wondered why no one of the Underground had taken action. Not that he trusted them, though. It could mean two things: either they didn't want to show their abilities or there was nothing they could do to help. When they got outside, Labassa sighed. "Where are we? A forest?" Kjolmar immediately snarled back. "I am sorry the emergency landing did not end up in front of an hotel, princess. If it weren't for Nobody and I, the three of you'd be dead. A little gratitude would not be misplaced." Meanwhile Coura (the short bulky man) placed his hand on Nobody's shoulder. "Nice shot." he said. It was remarkable at how he didn't seem to have any effect from her electrical vibes. Perhaps he was resistant to it somehow? Nubius had been awfully quiet since the crash but by now he had fitted the pieces of the puzzle together. "That beam came from a Cyborg. Trust me, I've seen a similar one from up close. Which means that there ARE Cyborgs in Midizi after all and they don't want any Carrier intruders interfering with their operation. So far for diplomacy." Kjolmar cleared his throat. "You are easy to give up on diplomacy, Nubius. Even if there are Cyborgs here, we have to keep a low profile until the Skyloran troops arrive in two days. Right now, the best offense is a good defense. I agree we shouldn't be sitting ducks but can we just avoid confrontation for two more days? We'll have a much better chance with Dawnmist's army by our side." The way he said it you could tell that Kjolmar knew a war could not be avoided. Was he trying to win some time? Was he actually stalling?
