Roan wondered if the goblin leader hadn’t heard him or it was simple cowardice that led him to ignore his challenge and run away. Roan chuckled; this moron didn’t have any idea with who he was dealing with if he thought Roan would allow him to escape. Before he could give chase though, Roan saw himself faced with another of the useless goblins, the maggot daring to block his way.

The fool's smile at his impending death was enough to convince Roan to dispatch him quickly without saying anything, the blade of his Greatsword aimed at the general area of the creature’s thorax. As he executed his attack and got ready to move, Roan thought about how poor of a choice of last words this goblin had chosen.
