When the man known as Magnar took a seat next to Kav, he took no notice. It was only after an awkward minute of Kav mourning and Magnar staring expectantly that Kav finally extended his arm out to reach for the beer Magnar had kindly gotten for him. "Thanks Magnar..." he said, taking a sip from the beverage, suppressing a coughing fit. He'd never liked beer, and it always seemed to do something to his throat. After successfully ridding himself of the itch that terrorised his throat, he took a rather large swig of the drink. 'What do alcoholics say? It drowns your sorrows... I sure hope so....' "All Lanterns receiving this message report to Lantern Salaak outside of the Central Battery for an emergency situation in sector 1-8-6-1..." suddenly blared both Kav's and Magnar's rings, right when the Venan had gotten comfortable with his company. Once again thanking Magnar for the beer, Kav walked out of the eatery, not waiting for the other Lantern to join him, flying to the Central Battery. Once he got there, he saw other Lanterns already gathered, patiently waiting for Salaak's arrival. Silently joining them, Kav stood with his feet shoulder-width apart, arms behind his back, years of military training making it the most comfortable standing position. And so he waited with the others, keen to hear what the emergency was.
