Just a preliminary, still have tweaks and details to put in but that's basically what I came up with today. Hope you like and don't worry I plan on expanding his back story more before this begins, I'm not finished yet! From an early age Kalux was taught to use a weapon by his father. He was often brought along when his father conducted "business" which included everything from interrogation to bounty hunting and smuggling. Kalux first killed at the age of eleven under the orders of dear old dad, A Batarian merchant had failed to pay Aria's "protection fees". He was forced to shoot the man in the head at point blank range, it was his fathers attempt to toughen him up since the young Turian would never serve in the Turian military like his father. This greatly impacted Kalux's life turning him into a sarcastic cynic, it also gave him an extreme hatred for his father for making him murder an innocent. By the age of 14 Kalux became fully involved in his father's missions for Aria. He worked as a sniper and infantry style operative. In a year he became one of the most feared men on Omega, many believed he even passed up his father in sheer ability. When the Vorcha began taking territory in Omega's lower levels, Kalux and his father led Aria's counter attack. They stopped the entire Vorcha offensive in less than a month, however Kalux was severely injured from an explosion which put him in a coma for five years. When he woke up at the age of 20 Omega was a different place with three different major mercenary groups having territory and deals with Aria. He also learned that his father was a traitor with a very large bounty on his head and that he killed his mother. Kalux spent the next two years tracking his father down. He finally killed him after a long firefight ending with his father taking a sniper round through the skull. When he collected the bounty, he became a freelancer taking jobs from anyone with the money to pay him. He became one of the most famous bounty hunters in the galaxy doing jobs with people like Zaeed Massani. He became extremely wealthy and developed a habit of drinking and gambling which often got him in trouble with both legitimate governments and mercenary groups. The Eclipse in particular has a problem with him seeing that he owes the organization a substantial amount of money (which he refuses to pay.) As his gambling debts rose, Kalux needed a more stable job than bounty hunting with a more steady paycheck. Therefore he began the rigorous screening process of becoming a private mercenary for Siame Industries at the age of 26. He signed a five year contract with the group taking jobs chasing pirates who raided worlds under Siame protection. He made it his personal agenda to harass Eclipse often taking jobs in which Siame was raiding their bases and even bringing high level Eclipse mercs into custody. Siame gave Kalux command of a small squad of elite mercenaries called the Crimson Rifles to carry out bounty and protection jobs for the company. They became a very reliable asset for the company pulling off incredible jobs including on specific raid against the Blood Pack in which they killed a thousand year old Weyrloc warlord. They became very famous throughout Siame Industries and the company began renting them out to legitimate governments such as the Turians and the Alliance in attacks against Batarian slavers. The Crimson Rifles were present on Elysium during the Batarian attack in 2176 trying to gain Siame a protection contract with the colony. However they ended up in a massive firefight on the ground trying to hold the line against a battalion of Batarians (with the help of Alliance marines). They were pushed back and half of Kalux's squad and all of the marines were killed along with a rather large number of civilians. Kalux saw this as a personal failure as did his employers. He and his team spent the last year of their contracts protecting unimportant colonies, none of which saw any action. At the age of 31, Kalux's contract with Siame expired, he and the Crimson Rifles became freelance. Kalux decided to renew his grudge with Eclipse and began harassing their operations at every opportunity. The Rifles even went as far as helping Blue Suns take territory from the Eclipse on multiple planets including Omega (Kalux saw some irony in that.) Eventually the Eclipse attacked Kalux's base of operations, stealing all of his substantial wealth and killing every member of his team. Kalux was severely outnumbered and only allowed to live because the Eclipse boss, an Asari named Sevra Dolrias, was feeling "generous." Eclipse quickly spread the word of how the legendary bounty hunter was defeated, his reputation suffered greatly. Kalux had to begin again taking on small, badly paying jobs that were far below his skill level. He was delivering a runaway slave back to the Batarians on Torfan when the Alliance attacked (a job he was in no way proud of.) He fought with the Batarians holding the Alliance soldiers back until the moon was overrun. Kalux barely escaped with his life and is now being hunted by the Alliance as an enemy of humanity, putting him at odds with his old employers Siame who recently signed a contract with the Alliance. He is now hiding out on Cartagena Station until everything blows over. However he might be willing to work with a certain group of criminals if the pay is right, at least they were going after the right people.
