"Who are you?" Remy repeated the question a little more civilly, rubbing his free hand warily through his brown hair. " I didn't want to startle you, so I took me time but making contact with you" Maria said as she looked at the weapons pointed at her now, their hands on the trigger. Maria thought that this was going to be the end for her as the two showed hostile intent. " I'm not trying to harm anyone, I'm just trying to survive like everyone else, what would you have done coming across another person?. Would you just stick your guns in a strangers face and asked questions like you are now in a threatening manner. Maria kept her hand still out in the open " So are you really a cop and what are you doing out here? " My man became suspicious and he leaned close to the other woman's ear and whispered something. Remy sighed again, not liking the odds."For crying out loud, stop smiling and waving at us like were at some high school party," "I'm not moving because I think that one of you will shoot me...or worst" Maria answered. Remy finally said, getting impatient with the whole situation. "This is not the time or the place for such foolishness. Whoever is behind us might as well show themselves." He turned around and looked into the row of houses behind them. There was some movement and either it was more undead or the person hiding. The sound of growling got his attention. "You've got to be kidding me," Remy murmured under his breath. He tapped Ash on the forearm. "There really is no time for this." He nodded down the street. It was a huge group of undead. It looked like the undead version of rush hour traffic. It had been so quiet before and the town was so small. Where had all these creatures appeared from? Did an undead convention just let out or something. "Lady, man hiding in the house, if I were you, I'd run."But before he could even think of running, several of the undead broke off from the group and were coming at him, Ash and the lady at an alarming speed. "Crap." John watched the whole thing unfold but said nothing. Maria wanted to make contact with this group and it didn't go off to well as they were armed and dangerous, but she didn't listen to him. John had spent alot of time in plenty of hell hole to know that most people are at their worst during times of marshal law. You can't trust anyone, well not for a while it would seem as the two reacted. John listened to the man taking about someone being behind him and wonder if he wasn't signaling the other two that he mentioned before. When Maria saw what was coming, she broke in a run for her life not caring to get shot by either the police officer or his companion and began to flee. John watched as everyone began to move, "snap scoping" John acquired multiple targets of opportunity and understood why Maria ran for safety. Fast movers thought John as he saw they begin to engage anything that moved and for that reason, John wasn't about to reveal his "hide" position. He would let them pass knowing that they were already on the trail for the living. knowing that the door was secured and that he didn't break cover from his hide that they would pass him by. Maria on the other hand choose to flee away from both threats and try to find her way back to the stake truck for safety. Using break, line of sight technique, she hoped that john would know where she was going to the "rally point" as he instructed her. Maria got within sight of the stake body truck before the path was cut off by undead, surrounded and the circled left her not alot of options. The creatures advanced which made her escape impassable. " I don't want to feel a thing, I don't want to feel a thing" She kept telling herself as she knew it was the end from her. Pulling the derringer out and placing into her mouth she made a last 360 before retiring. No sound that could be heard, just darkness.
