Crunch.... Crunch... Thud... Silently, but quickly, two tall forms moved through this town. The taller of the two casually tossing dismembered body parts or a departed human being towards whatever groups of undead were. There seemed to be a bit more suddenly. Usually, the duo didn't go into more populated areas due to the population of undead and possible terrified survivors but it would be nice to have somewhat normal food. Human fingers were tossed off as bait for the undead, the taller form calm and calculating as he looked around. His black shaggy messy hair having specks of sticky blood and mud in it and his face dirty and his black jacket ragged and worn from conflict and age. The shaggy golden brown haired boy looking girl followed him without complaint but frown a little as her rusty brown eyes watched. They were twins, and their names were Cat and Dog... Heh odd names really for human beings but perhaps they never really were human. Just strays surviving the world. They had been mostly roaming when the outbreak happened, and when it did, it was indeed a shocker. Cat found it amusing. A challenge that now required every human in the world to be in their shows. Fighting for survival and to be forever in fear. To be actually show their true colors. Yes, her twin was a bit twisted some would say. Cruel. Especially when knowing he was like this before the end of the world, this just gave him more a excuse to act on them. Since now it seemed regular political law didn't apply anymore. They did not have any set destination to go, they never really did. Their soul goal was simply to survive. Continue to walk and struggle what life they did have like all living things do. Now with just a different predator. Dog gave another sigh as the tall boyish girl's right hand clung on the back of her twins jacket from the back. Only when did Cat stop she finally focused what was going on around her. Peeking from around a corner, she saw a building that looked like a store with a handful of survivors with some disposed of undead on the ground. The brown haired twin grinned a little excitedly as she saw a actual healthy non undead dog among them. She loved animals and she almost ran out cheerfully to cuddle the canine with affection. Of course, the black hair twin's calculating cold gaze made her pause. Cat was examining the group carefully, evaluating them. Most would have a hard time understanding what exactly he was thinking but Dog could make a good guess. More or less, this group would be too much of a bother to get involved with by means of combat. A dog was a problem for living uninfected people among a group with guns. The boy didn't seem too much of a problem. Either Cat or Dog could over power him and he seemed unskilled and a bit edgy. A nervous sort which Cat often took advantage of as his prey. There was a little girl, another sort Cat wouldn't hesitate to go for. The woman with the little girl seemed a bit scared as well, the group probably had a run in with a near death experience. Cat probably was most concerned with the dog and two of the women. It was probably better to just ignore them and move on since it appeared this area was already pretty dangerous. Dog's assumptions were correct since her brother turned back and started walking away, not giving a single word. Already assuming his sister knew his thoughts without wasting the energy by talking. However, Dog couldn't help but be curious. A little girl and a dog was mostly caught her eye... Honestly... Neither her or her brother were really scared of the zombies or other survivors... But Dog was a little lonely and both of them accepted they would die sometime. They just didn't know when. Back when before the world became hell, interacting with people didn't seem all important since they were everywhere. But now humans were dying off like moths to a flame. The shorter twin wanted to feel what it was like to actually be somewhat on the same level as others. Of course, no one really was normal anymore. So in her hesitation, Dog stayed still watching, shifting the fairly decent sized pack on her back as she stayed curiously at the group. Cat paused as he noticed his twin pause, seeming not to notice a slow moving shambling corpse coming up behind her. Rolling his eyes a little a giving a quiet sigh like he was watching some stupid tv show, he walked over his fists clenched as he punched the undead walking corpse in the side of his head. Not hesitating his assault, he punched again and knocked the body to the ground. Quickly smashing his metal covered knuckles against the skull of the hungry corpse. Dog blinked curiously as a thud was heard as Cat knocked down a upcoming walking corpse. His powerful fists striking again and again even after movement ceased and decomposed brain matter spilled out from the crumpled skull. Blinking a little as her brother lazily picked up a handful of the squished brain matter, squeezed it inside his fist before letting it fall and wiped his dark bloody hands on his jeans. Standing up, Cat looked at her with blank eyes but with a slightly arched eyebrow. Sighing, Dog mouthed the words 'sorry' before slowly moving around the corner, hand up and away from the pistols at her hips as she lightly waved to the group. Shot or not, she wanted to at least speak to somewhat regular people who probably didn't start off like the people she was used to. So why not give it a try? Her brother may disapprove, but she knew he'd accept it. After all, they agreed if they were going to die, they would get to choose how. Of course she wanted to at least die in a nicer place... Maybe the ocean.. But this was fine as well. "Um, I come in peace.. I think that is what one is suppose to say when you don't have any white flags eh?" Dog said softly but clearly in a husky boy like voice. She was used to talking and being a guy. She grew up to be one to hide her gender. The end of the world didn't seem to be a chance to change that habit, so she would continue to play the role as some pretty boy. Though she was sure her smiling joking manner would probably be odd for these terrified people.
