- can create light in the palm of hands, it is a burning, energy that can be quite blinding to those around the user. Can manipulate into the form of light beam or orb attacks as a offensive attack.
- can bend light to render one's self unseen by the naked eye
- night vision
- can sometimes create holograms or illusions but she has not quite mastered this ability
LIMITATIONS/WEAKNESSES:
Light must be present in some form. If user is submerged in complete darkness, she cannot perform her ability.
Glass can reflect light attacks, and gravity can bend it. It will pass through completely transparent surfaces. Additionally, darkness will completely overwhelm the user.

Personality: Rosaline is a cheerful and outgoing girl who usually has a positive outlook on even the most dire situations. She's good-natured and very caring for others. However, she is known to be reckless when those she cares about are in dangerous situations. Rose often does things without thinking and impulsively reacts. She is very stubborn and once she has her mind set on something, it is very hard to change it. Often times she will say the wrong thing without thinking and currently has a lot of trouble controlling her temper. She's quite the comedian with witty remarks and sarcastic replies always on hand. She loves a good joke and doesn't like to take things too seriously. Though impulsive, she is very intelligent and her quick-thinking can end up handy in many situations. Rose is super impatient and hates waiting. She does not like having to work very hard especially when it comes to paper work of any kind. When she finds something she's passionate about, she will endlessly work at it. 

History: Rosaline grew up in the suburbs like any normal girl, going out with friends and taking part in sports such as cheerleading and softball. In some ways she is quite strange, having a love for fashion and the color pink yet also for comic books and skateboarding. She would often get into trouble in school as a kid due to her inability to filter her words. Rose always spoke her mind no matter the consequences and had been suspended on more than one occasion for punching someone solely for the fact that "she was a bitch." She grew up with her older brother Hunter and mother Melanie for the most part. Her father had left the family when she was eight years old out of the blue and he hasn't been seen since. Her mother, although a loving woman, is quite religious and is very hateful of mutants. Rose, however, took after her father. Her father had told her and Hunter as kids to not judge anyone or anything without knowing two sides to a story. She openly supports them and her mother resents that. 

A little under two years ago, Rosaline's ability started to really exhibit itself. She took time to learn how to at least control it to the point she can hide it and has been keeping it secret since then. The only one who knows about it is her brother Hunter. Now a senior in high school, Rose is unsure what to do with her life. She had been using her power to intervene in criminal activity lately but she backed out when the news started to question the events. She yearns to have a normal life and become a fashion designer but at the same time, she wants to make a difference with the ability she was gifted with.
