Dyson Spheres are the size of a Solar System... That's the entire point of them... You build them around the entire outside of a Solar System, so that you can harvest 100% of the Suns energy that it exudes, but at the same time, make sure that the Sun can perform its duties of warming the solar system and keeping the planets inline and alive.
