Serenity stepped into New York for the first time. Her face instantly lit up as she saw the huge Teen Titans tower in the sky. The reason she had come to this foreign place. She knew the tower was full of young super heroes who had incredible abilities like her. She didn't ever have to worry about having to fit in again. She even wore the clothes Marinda had given her. She didn't understand why, or who's clothes they were but she knew that the clothes always fit to her present size and that it was from her home planet. Serenity sighed. She couldn't let thoughts about her home planet distract her today. She was here to join the Teen Titans. 

She grinned to herself as she walked down a long street. Serenity could feel the eyes on her everywhere but she didn't care. Soon she would be accepted by people who understood her. She just needed to get to the tower. She passed by a small book store and couldn't help herself. She rushed right in and began examining the books on the shelves.
