Battle Jyn unwrapped the straps of her crossbow's wooden case hanging behind her back. It was slightly heavy but the weight was something she already got used on carrying. Opening the case with swiftness, Jyn immediately grabbed the crossbow, taking a good grip of it's stock with her left hand and brushing through the foregrip with the other. She leveled the weapon to her chest as she took a quick glance of the scope if ever dusts took an invasion. This was it, something her heart had been pumping with exhilaration since the end of graduation. Her chest was throbbing heavily but none of it would ever contribute towards failure as what she strongly believed. "Thael, Freddy and Kim, you’re on vanguard duty, try to provoke as many of them as you can. Kat, these creatures are weak to ice spirits, do what you can wherever you can, roam. Roy and Aaron, protect Kat, as soon as the Raptors see her spirits they are going to converge on her. Jyn, Maggie, and Emily, do your thing from the rear and watch our backs. Remi, you’re with me on the left flank,” Taking note of the command with caution, Jyn stood a few inches behind Olivia, administering a sharp leash towards distant zones if ever there were possibilities of the creatures attacking from the rear side. She shifted her positioning, constantly rotating her gaze at ninety to one hundred eighty degrees while her eyes were glued to the scope of her crossbow. Her stance was ready for a target to shoot. Luckily, there were no incoming threats and it was safe to be certain that the rear side was secure. The front line was doing absolutely good except however for Aaron who did deviate from the team's positioning and went to face the creatures with none other than his own self. But perhaps she thought he could handle them for a bit. She did believe what Aaron was capable of and rushing in for a helping hand if ever the situation transitions into a troublesome scene wouldn't be a huge issue to carry out. Suddenly, loud grunts and a clatter of movements sailed through Jyn's senses which made her turn immediately to where it was coming from. It was several inches before her where Olivia was battling against a few Raptors, which happened to broke past the defensive line with their blunt charges. Jyn swam her gaze throughout the vicinity, immediately taking a quick glimpse of another pair of raptors charging in towards a member of the group. "Remi" She muttered, then sprinted away from her position. Jyn made haste, sending off heaps of dirt with her combat boots as she ran with utmost speed towards him. As Jyn reached behind Remi before the raptors could come barging in, a piercing scream emerged from the aim of the crossbow's bolt, rocketing past Remi and hitting the Raptor Delta. The member of the pair was pinned down for now and Jyn knew it would bring itself back up again anytime soon however, the other raptor was still live and charging, almost at a peak where it could gravely harm Remi within a single hit. Then, after a call of distress from being at an almost close gap, The Raptor's movement froze instantly as wisps of visible matter came circling through the being and formed a field of surging energies. Jyn's right hand was pointed at the creature's range, focusing sheer concentration on her spirits to lock down the creature's movements completely. The raptor stood steadily, frozen and appeared to be in a position it previously rendered, almost as if it was a statue. Jyn sighed audibly as her right hand shook from the concentration she was exerting to the time lock's strength. "That was close." Jyn said. Sweat came rushing down from her forehead afterwards. Then, as she feared, the Raptor Delta groaned itself back up, slowly returning to weary movements. "Oh c'mon at least rest for a bit while I play with your friend!" She exclaimed at the raptor.
