The modern world seems a constant surprise to her, and she discovers new, amazing technologies when she looks around every corner. Her lack of experience with technology often leads to frustration, a trait that has once been called "cute" by one of her fellow squad members. Regardless of how she's been forced to adapt, she'll always be considerably more comfortable in the wilds, particularly in North America.
