A character I make tends to anchor interest into a story, but if I don't have a concept I'm in love with (upon approval of course) then it makes me nervous to make false promises to those I don't want to insult or trouble. Usually an idea or two come straight to mind but sometimes childhood concepts (ones that tug at my nostalgia I mean) end up tricking me into signing on before I've thought about the big picture, something I'm trying to be more weary of. I feel bad for flip flopping, I really do.
