The battle had begun to grow even greater than he had imagined it would have, there was a large number of foes here. More obvious is that even more would be coming, as someone had just thrown a small metallic object to the ground near the other two. Obviously not any of the other combatants that he had seen up to this point. Thematic fighters often have obvious tells about what weapons and abilities they use. The Overlord knew this from experience, as he himself is a thematic fighter. Two things have become blatantly apparent during this battle. First, his foes are significantly faster than he had anticipated, having already become engrossed in fighting in the short time that he has been here. And second, now this is quite important. Though they seem educated, these sorts of folk are- How should he put this? These folks are not quite intelligent enough to understand the concept of not turning your back to the most dangerous man in the area. "Well, I suppose I should punish this transgression." Leaning backwards a bit, he turned his wrist and swung the sword slowly until it was completely vertical. With the tip closer to the ground than the handle. Taking a step forward and raising his arm upwards again, he proceeded to plunge the massive blade into the earth below. "How about I shake things up a bit?" The embedded crystal flashed for a moment and sent a wave of grey splashing down the metal, slamming into the ground with a shocking amount of force. The ground gave to this blast, concaving around the point of the sword. From the position he was standing, a large wave of vibration went out in every direction through the ground. The tree that was the closest to him was pushed slightly to the right, bowing to his power. The Overlord, though he would never show it, was not fond of being disregarded. Not fond in the slightest.
