"A starship? To get back...home...?" Spectra tries to remember what "home" meant to her. Suprisingly nothing, as in, she mostly forgot what it is. She picked up the gem, mysterious energy sputtered out of it, so she decided to run back to her apartment to check it, passed out once she locked the door and she woke up in the Void. No memory of anything that happened before, not even her original identity, "Spectra" was the first thing that comes into her mind when she is questioned about her name. Nobody could recognize her as her previous self because her appearance changed from whatever she was before.
