She was excited as the burgers came and were set in front of them. This one seemed bigger than the ones she had seen Connor eat before. Which was good, because she was incredibly hungry. Even so her hunger could wait for a few more words, as she was glad that Connor made some sort of reference to believing in God...well, since that day at the church. She reached over and put her hand on one of his, smiling at him. "He is watching. If he were not, I feel I would never have met you. " she took a moment to reflect on how much she had fallen in love since then. "and he also answers prayers....but for miracles, God works in halves. You must do your share of work. I met you and you invited me to find the medallion...but I had to accept and fight against my nature..." She looked around, letting go of his hand and glancing at her burger, "Besides...i believe with a little more work, we can create a large miracle of our own." she finished, smiling. She then picked up her burger and began to eat it, hardly being able to hold ack how good it was when she did. She blushed slightly and tried to ignore a couple interested peoples' glances.
