Nation Name: Arashe Location: A temperate zone that is known for its sweeping valleys and clear rivers. Government: A democracy where the various clans and guilds send their representatives as their spokesperson. Dominant race: They are a clan of elves that have taken to improving themselves physically after being exiled, with body types that are trended more towards lean than slender. Their ears are a bit smaller than the norm and their hair are on the darker side of the spectrum. Eventually, they became known as an elf subspecies and nowadays they call themselves Larue N'hen (Spirited Exiles) with no small amount of pride. Other races: They domesticated wolves and bred them to become even more efficient pack hunters than they were in nature. If anything, the wolves are a bit larger and more ferocious than their wild counterparts. Buffaloes are their cattle and they have a thriving fish farm due to the rivers criss-crossing their region. Tamed brown hawks are used to deliver messages. Wild Flora/fauna: Wild wolves roam the region, as well as owlbears (body of bear with owl heads). Wyverns also fly the skies, territorial reptiles with some draconic and avian qualities armed with stinger tails and beaks, as well as winged forelegs. Other than that, lynxes, moose, waterfowl such as ducks and geese, and various other rodents live in the area. Specialization: The nation of Arashe specializes in Agriculture and Metallurgy, even coming up with a living metal that acts much like a plant and grows from absorbing nutrients to create more of itself. They also believe that the best way to keep the peace is to be ready for any invader, and thus has a mindset that those who train their bodies as well as their minds are to be respected. As a result of this, Arashe is very martial and values martial ability such as the fighting forms and swordsmanship. As a result, the Larue N'hen has a high amount of schools that focus on fighting, leading to many, many martial arts styles. National History: The Larue N'hen were a particularly outspoken minority of young elves in the past that constantly clashed with the more conservatives and prideful elders, resulting in the troublemakers being willingly exiled for complaining about how stifling certain traditions and laws were. Moving far away from their elders and through many lands, they finally settled in an unclaimed region rife with wildlife and set about creating exploring their new surroundings to adapt to. Soon, frontier towns sprang forth and the younger generation began to live in the rough lands and constantly challenged themselves, becoming hardy and resilient as well as flexible and adaptable. From that point on, they began to focus on arming themselves with both knowledge and power to repulse anyone that wants to take away their hard-earned freedom. War magic was researched, new fighting tactics were made, and body strengthening became cultural. Yet, they always kept in mind to never step past certain boundaries, remembering the hubris and arrogance of their original nation. Honor was for those that did the right thing and fought only in contests or for self defense, and never for ambition or invasions. Alliances: To be updated. Enemies: To be updated. Notable People: The Clan/Guild Leaders are important due to the fact that they control sizable groups of influence as well as participating in elections and senates to determine the Prime Minister and other government officials. Other: Their living metal are composed mainly of an iron base, since that metal is rather easy to find in the area. Other variants such as silver, gold, and even mithril exist. By blending together a living metal and another metal, you can make fruit alloys of a stronger metal without the need of manually forging them together, though they still need a bit of touching up if you are planning on utilizing them outside of their raw state.
