Nation Name: Arashe Location: A temperate zone that is known for its sweeping valleys and clear rivers. Government: A democracy where the various clans and guilds send their representatives as their spokesperson. Dominant race: They are a clan of elves that have taken to improving themselves physically after being exiled, with body types that are trended more towards lean than slender. Their ears are a bit smaller than the norm and their hair are on the darker side of the spectrum. Eventually, they became known as an elf subspecies and nowadays they call themselves Larue N'hen (Spirited Exiles) with no small amount of pride. Other races: They domesticated wolves and bred them to become even more efficient pack hunters than they were in nature. If anything, the wolves are a bit larger and more ferocious than their wild counterparts. Buffaloes are their cattle and they have a thriving fish farm due to the rivers criss-crossing their region. Tamed brown hawks are used to deliver messages. Wild Flora/fauna: Wild wolves roam the region, as well as owlbears (body of bear with owl heads). Wyverns also fly the skies, territorial reptiles with some draconic and avian qualities armed with stinger tails and beaks, as well as winged forelegs. Other than that, lynxes, moose, waterfowl such as ducks and geese, and various other rodents live in the area. Specialization: The nation of Arashe specializes in Agriculture and Metallurgy, even coming up with a living metal that acts much like a plant and grows from absorbing nutrients to create more of itself. They also believe that the best way to keep the peace is to be ready for any invader, and thus has a mindset that those who train their bodies as well as their minds are to be respected. As a result of this, Arashe is very martial and values martial ability such as the fighting forms and swordsmanship. As a result, the Larue N'hen has a high amount of schools that focus on fighting, leading to many, many martial arts styles. National History: The Larue N'hen were a particularly outspoken minority of young elves in the past that constantly clashed with the more conservatives and prideful elders, resulting in the troublemakers being willingly exiled for complaining about how stifling certain traditions and laws were. Moving far away from their elders and through many lands, they finally settled in an unclaimed region rife with wildlife and set about creating exploring their new surroundings to adapt to. Soon, frontier towns sprang forth and the younger generation began to live in the rough lands and constantly challenged themselves, becoming hardy and resilient as well as flexible and adaptable. From that point on, they began to focus on arming themselves with both knowledge and power to repulse anyone that wants to take away their hard-earned freedom. War magic was researched, new fighting tactics were made, and body strengthening became cultural. Yet, they always kept in mind to never step past certain boundaries, remembering the hubris and arrogance of their original nation. Honor was for those that did the right thing and fought only in contests or for self defense, and never for ambition or invasions. Alliances: To be updated. Enemies: To be updated. Notable People: The Clan/Guild Leaders are important due to the fact that they control sizable groups of influence as well as participating in elections and senates to determine the Prime Minister and other government officials. Other: Their living metal are composed mainly of an iron base, since that metal is rather easy to find in the area. Other variants such as silver, gold, and even mithril exist. By blending together a living metal and another metal, you can make fruit alloys of a stronger metal without the need of manually forging them together, though they still need a bit of touching up if you are planning on utilizing them outside of their raw state. ---- God Name: Hardy Title(s): Titan Slayer, Friend to All Children, Big Little Sister, Hunter of Hunters, Furious Mother, The True Innocent One, and Source of Myriad Joys. Seat of Power: Hardy's center of power would be... a rather beautiful meadow. In the day time, a rainbow canvas of flowers and fruit trees dot the place with a stream of the purest spring water flowing forth in the area. At night, certain plants bloom to give the place a gentle gold and silver glow, giving a different kind of beauty. It is nestled within the roots of a giant tree that's as big as a mountain and whose wood is so dense and strong and thick that ordinary people have to hack away for an entire week with steel weapons just to cut a half a foot's worth into its trunk. Those who are caught attempting to deface the Great Mother Tree or the DIvine Meadow usually gets beaten eight ways to Sunday. Divine Aspects: Life, Growth, and Nature Appearance: Hardy only has one form, and it is that of a rather young elf maiden. Like most of her people, she prefers an attire that is pretty and practical. Artifacts: Giant Killer: A Living Metal weapon imbued with both her divine blood and the wood of her Great Tree of Birth. As a result, it is incredibly dense and magically potent, with an ability to mimic the properties of other metals found in nature. She uses the aspect of quicksilver to morph it into different weapon forms and mithril to harden it. The most notable forms being a slender yet incredibly long one edged sword or a giant war bow. Like its name implies, it is a weapon made to destroy giant creatures. A single swing from the sword can cut ordinary dragons in half and its bow form is significantly stronger than her nation's biggest and strongest siege crossbow. Because it is connected with her, she can wield the thing with ease. Other individuals wouldn't even be able to lift the thing off the ground at all, even if they amassed a hundred people to try. She can also lend it to others for a brief moment. Great Mother Tree: The mountain sized tree that she was born from. Any and all materials coming from the tree is magically dense and powerful due to it amassing her excess powers ever since she was born. It acts as a giant energy reserve for her in times where she runs out and needs a quick boost. It can also defend itself by entangling its giant network of roots at the foot of an invading army and dragging them deep underground, or flinging sharp leaves that can cut through stone at the invader. Considering each leaf is the size of a person and it has enough room in its branches for a million of them at the very least, invaders will meet very staunch opposition when trying to attack the tree. Divine Meadow: It serves as a place of great inspiration for her followers, holding great powers of purification. Curses and evil spirits cannot exist at all in this place, and all but the most powerful of negative magics are outright dissolved once taken into the boundaries. Other than that, the great beauty of the place makes causes people to think of new ways to advance their arts (songs, plays, dance, paintings, etc.) due to the beauty found there. Unique abilities: Surge of Life: An ability that allows her to pump excess life energy into her surroundings as well as turning divine energy to that which could naturally be found in nature. Areas where she walks will be full of life energy for a short while and new growth would pop up in her wake. Areas that has her reside in for a certain amount of time will become prosperous and blooming. It can even reclaim lands lost to desertification and purified tainted waters. Nature's Blessing: Where she can connect her heart with that of plants and animals, allowing her to converse and ask them for their aid It also reverts her back to a more primal state where instincts are at an all time high and restrictions of civilization has been lifted. In this forth, she can run up flat inclines and across water, toss about boulders like pebbles, and launch herself hundreds of feet into the sky to attain pseudo flight. She can swim like a fish, swing like a monkey, and emulate the wild kingdom's various specialties like she was born an animal herself through divine mimicry of actions. Physical prowess is pushed to the limits to attain the best possible way to hunt down those who dare intrude upon her territory. Personal History: Hardy was found when the exiled elven youths claimed the fertile yet rugged lands near the dwarven mountains. Or rather, the giant tree was found. Looking up, they found that a single silver giant peach was growing from the lowest branch. Eagerly seeing it as a sign that they should settle down in this wild place, they built their first settlement underneath the Great Mother Tree. As the last building was put up, the unusually large fruit plummeted to the ground, causing a sizable crater at the outskirts of their pioneer town. As they rushed on over to investigate, they found that what emerged was an elf that looked much like them... though she was imbued with knowledge and powers that were beyond their understanding. The fact that she could survive in places where even the most powerful predators tread and actually cowed them led the others to believe that she was a goddess... which she was. Soon, she was tempted into civilization due to her curiosity and found it so enjoyable that she took the role of protector for the to be named nation of Arashe. Personality: Hardy could be summed up in two words most of the time: innocent and happy. She positively enjoys all the wonders that life has to offer and is often full of curiosity for anything that catches her attention. She also can never act regal like most other gods, as she finds it much too stuffy and forced. Rather, she acts either more like a motherly/big sister kind of authority figure that is full of love for her charges. On matters she doesn't know, she assumes a persona of a little sibling, eagerly asking "what's this for?" and "how does that work?". On some occasions though, Hardy assumes a serious and merciless persona. Most of the time this is for when injustices are enacted or when her nation is invaded, leading to her slaying the vermin that threatens to disturb her charges, channeling the disposition of an angry mother beast coming to the defense of her beloved children. ---- Oh right, me and Rin talked it out and we decided that the elves and dwarves will be allies.
