That's the only beef you have with my post? Haha, okay. 

Anyway, yeah. Like I said, it's not a big deal, but it appeals to me. I never said female protagonists were "new." I'm just saying it's hard to find them done well. There isn't a lot of stuff I like that has not only good female characters, but good female-female relationships. Legend of Korra is doing pretty well with that, too. Female characters and female relationships appeal to me. It's just another reason why I enjoy RWBY. 

But, yeah, keep being a butt about it if you want. You asked for a fan opinion and you got it. Don't know what you want from me, but I'd prefer to talk to other fans about the premiere / game.
