Done
NAME: Narral Bat AGE: 25 SEX: F Race: Halfling APPEARANCE: Standing at around 3’11” Narral can be easily lost in large crowds so try and keep an eye on her if you can. PERSONALITY: In all honesty she’s a bit of a dick when you first meet her, her rather rude and brash personality being one of her many number of flaws. Lack of direction her life being another one coupled with that horrible eavesdropping habit a group of adventurers might suddenly find themselves with an uninvited guest. But despite her rather rough exterior Narral is actually quite nice and enjoys the little things like yummy food and playing her harp. OCCUPATION: Traveling Bard BACKGROUND: Meadowmill is a little village in the wild lands a few days from the outskirts of Indiga that Narral used to call home, Windmills scattered across the rolling plains grinding up the locally grown grain into flour ready to be transported across the mainland to Violetta Bay. How boring, it was only in the few books that Narral could find that she found excitement and adventure. Tales of grandeur and quests given by the gods, and a little Island that gave birth to magic and ruled over by those who could see the future. The little island appeared in many books of grand adventure and ancient history. The images painted in books filled up Narrals mind with a burning desire to visit the island as well as the many other places mentioned and written about in books by other travellers before her. Pretty soon Narral begun to make plans to go and visit those places and one night Narral told her family of her plans to travel the world. They didn’t agree of course and one thing led to another and Narral said some things she really shouldn’t have before quickly running off. A few years later, and wiser, Narral’s still on the road playing for her next meal and bed but isn’t as keen to get to the Island as she had been. She still wants to of course but after running off the idea isn’t quite as desirable as it had been before considering recent events. SKILLS: Streetwise, there's a code y'see between those stuck on the streets and it’s a damn good code. You'll never figure it out. Map reading, it always pays to have someone who knows where they're going. Cooking, if you value your taste buds do not eat the food she makes. It will keep you alive but would death be better? Need I say being able to play the Harp? WEAPONS: Bow and Arrows perfect for picking off enemies, or an unfortunate animal, from a safe distance. Harp for blunt force trauma, may need repairing afterward. ADDITIONAL GEAR: A small harp, granted it was built for a human so it’s a little bit big for her but it’s still a small harp. It’s a family heirloom actually buts it’s been broken and mended so many times that only the little wooden leaf at its tip is from the original. Her mother would always say it was a gift from Eris, the Deity of Music, but it’s highly doubtful though Narral still likes to pretend it’s true anyway.
Race Information: Halfling: Rumoured to be the result of some human and a Dwarf a few hundred years ago Halflings are often looked down upon for their lack of stature, strength and general ability not to get under everyone’s feet in a crowd. However they do have much better stamina than humans and those who practice less savoury forms of work are found to be much better at sneaking around then their larger counterparts. Halflings are not as common as Humans preferring to reside in scattered hamlets over vast distances and out of sight, although it’s not unheard of for a Halfling to move to more populated places.
