Deadpixel101's characters:

Appearance: An older man, easily into his 50s his hair is already a light grey. It is kept in a sort of tuft with only moderate regard to it's well being. His skin is aged, wrinkled and admittedly a tad leathery. He has slightly sunken in eyes of gold, they pierce stone and are always cool. He has a hard face, a scar spreading from his nose bridge to beside the left edge of his lips. He has a beard staying close to his chin and framing his mouth. His nose is defined and sharp. His tone is deep due to time in the sun as well as foreign genes. He has a well built body despite his age, easily filling his usual all black suit nicely. A white shirt lies under his coat jacket with a blood red tie, the guild insignia small and on it's tip. He has matching dress pants and oily black shoes. A visor of intricate metal framing and orange clear material is worn when he enters battle.

Gender: Male.

Name: Xavier V. Lifesaver.

Age:57

Background info: Xavier came to Altier as a young boy, his family leaving the dangerous and wall-less cities to the south. He arrived in Kalli when he was 13 and grew to become a out of city fisher like his father. Age 19 he was out on a trip, his father and him catching the days meal and tomorrows gold. They were up a bit farther stream then usual and ran into a Dire-bear. The large beast assaulted them defensively and Xavier made it out alive, a new scar to adorn his face. His father, did not. He escaped with the aid of a passing hunter, the prior guild leader. After losing his mother to sickness two years later he sought out the person who had saved his life. Looking for both a way to repay his debt, and to give meaning to his life. He grew slowly as a hunter, starting in the lower ranks with a team of new allies and friends. They eventually took down a mighty beast holding back trades from a large road, and were ranked to S. After this development a calamity occurred. His savior and boss, the guild head, passed away. Dying to a large beast far off in nearly uncharted territory. After some decision making, and settling of documents, Xavier was not elected, his friend and SS ranking member though, did. Accepting the change with ease Xavier continued to grow as a hunter, eventually rising to second in command. One more death, to yet the same beast, and Xavier took his current position. No more attempts have been against the beast, it has been named "Deaths favorite." Xavier has kept the guild running properly and efficiently for nearly 28 years now. His position is solid, and though he does not often leave the guild due to responsibilities, he is known to take special cases.

Powers: Kronos eye: Able to view things as if they were slowed Xavier can react with alarming speed to current developments, this is obviously an amazing ability to utilize on the front lines, and it has saved his life a few times over. It was gained when slaying a titan of a magical beast. He does not know why he has it, but he has not stopped researching, even now.
Call of hero: A spell that is cast with a short incantation, he releases a large radius of selective magic. Healing allies and ravaging enemies. It is a major drain on his energy supply and he is quite vulnerable casting it.
Basic magic: Xavier has a very deeply rooted understanding of magic, years of training have brought his mana level and casting prowess to excessive amounts.
Money: Screw the rules I have money.

Weapons: Dual Soul Stingers. A single handed pistol created to run off of the users energy. It shoot projectiles of raw magic, and thus does not need to be reloaded. They are known for high customizability and Xavier's are no exception. He has increased the damage output, meaning also increasing the energy drain. He has altered projectile speed and fire rate. This means he can fire three bullets in rapid succession, and have them hit a single target all at the same exact millisecond. He has cane blade, a detaching nook that sprouts a thin metal blade. It is designed to be ludicrously thin and yet sturdy, this allows for it to cut things with ease, so cleanly in fact they can be stuck back together without any adhesive. Of course detaching them is just a matter of now sliding them apart, but I digress.

Interesting equipment: His visor is a scanner of sorts (insert dragon ball z reference) This tells him about monsters value and if they are on his guilds hit list. He has phone in which is used to hub together a collection of guild data. It can only be accessed by inserting his magical pulse. A coin from each previous two guild heads.

Personality: i prefer to leave this blank, as I tend to write something specific, and stray from it naturally. That being said I intent for him to be caring yet strict. He will be a fatherly figure at times, and a harsh businessman at others. It all depends on the person he is interacting with.

Hunter rank : S (After becoming guild head, he stopped doing many dangerous missions, thus stunting his ranking.)

Other: He is a well respected member of the community, and is at odds with many other of the current guild heads. He runs the monster barn and owns a large fishing corporation spreading out from Kalli, it is relatively local for now, though is growing and spreading rapidly across the kingdom, it is named after his father. "Daveir's classic fish"

The strongest monster he ever killed was a Minosnake (A large snake with a cow head) and the way he killed it was chopping its head off. He has it mantled in his room.Since he joined the guild he has been helping people out. A kind person Damien will sacrifice himself, in fact it almost happened. Gender: Male

Name: Samael Lost-Soul

Age: 25

Background Info: Samael Johnsson lived a simple life. His parents were farmers in one of the safer parts of the woods outside the walls, growing beets and radishes to sell at the local market. It wasn't glamorous, but they got by. Samael was all set to follow in his parents footsteps on the family farm, with hopes to start his own farm one day. Unfortunately, his parents were killed in a freak accident when a large old oak tree fell on his house during a storm. Being only 13, Samael was deemed “too young to properly run a beet farm” and a local land baron seized the farm. Samael was put out on his own.

With nowhere to go, Samael wandered the forest. He had heard the many stories of the monsters that roamed the woods, but he no longer cared. He was on his own, his whole world crushed (literally) by a tree. One night while sleeping in a large cave, far from civilization, Samael awoke to find himself hanging upside-down from the tail of a very large and very angry hydra. This seemed to be the end for Samael, and not knowing what to do, he cried. Like a very small child. It would have been embarrassing had he not been about to get eaten.

This would have been the end of Samael Johnsson, had a wood-elf hunting party not come by. They had been out stalking the hydra and taken pity on the young boy, slaying the beast as it was distracted with it’s meal. Hearing his story and feeling sorry for him, they took Samael back to their small settlement. Here Samael gained three important things. First, a home and new name: Lost-Soul. Second, the tools and skills of the wood-elves, such as hunting, archery, and making poisons from natural ingredients found in the woods. And finally, he gained a drinking problem, thanks to the wood-elves and their special homebrews.

After many years with the elves, at the age of 21, Samael left the elven settlement behind. He traveled the lands, hunting what he could and running away from what he couldn’t. A year later though, Samael wanted a home. So he traveled to Kalli and joined the Guild, where he has worked and trained since.

Powers: Bird-Tongue - He’s able to “communicate” with avian creatures. Not truly talking to them, but getting a sense of direction or a very basic understanding. So he can get an idea of the direction of a hunting party or a deer trail, but not specific details.

Weapons: Composite Bow
2 Dozen Arrows
Several small vials of poisons
2 Bolas
A large hunting knife
A small skinning knife

Interesting Equipment: A charm made from the tree that fell on his house. It warns when a nearby tree may fall unexpectedly.

Personality: Normally Samael is a fairly likeable guy. He’s quiet but kind and helpful. He tries to assist younger hirelings with their work and teach them what he knows. Normally he’s curious and enjoys walking through the woods alone. Everythings fine and dandy, except for that small drinking problem. When he drinks, no matter what it is, he gets stubborn and sad. In that order. Luckily the Guild’s cook has learned to hide anything alcoholic so it’s not usually a problem.

Hunter Rank: S

Other: Samael keeps a horse for travel. He also has his going-away present from the wood-elves: A parrot that only speaks in adjectives but is able to sense ghosts and other spectral beings. It’s a mixed blessing.

Toxx's characters: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name:
Classified Information. Call him...Grave.

Gender:
Undoubtedly male.

Age:
Young to mid adult. (24)

Background:
Hm...well...let's start from the beginning, yes?

Grave was originally born as James Carter, in the ruined walls of what seemed to be a ghost town. James' father was a retired SS class hunter, now scavenger and looter, while his mother was a former combat medic with a crippling illness - the loss of her left arm. Life was incredibly hard for James, growing up. Due to the nature of his birth; being forced out inside of an unsterilized hospital room...well, let's just say that Mother did not make it. Immediately after his unneeded birth, Father was stuck with a heavy dilemma. Keep the baby, and risk being slowed down to take care of it, or...leave it in the ruins of the abandoned city, with the corpse of it's dead mother, and have the monsters eat on it's bones. Despite the anger and resentment that Father couldn't help but have for the boy...who came into the world at the wrong time...the man couldn't just leave him there...and so they entered the disastrous world - once more for Father, and for the first time, for little James.

Life as a nomad was rough for the two. Father didn't have much food, or equipment for that matter. Despite being an admittedly powerful, experienced, and skilled man, he wasn't the best when it came to gathering money, or food for that matter. Along with this, he only had a jerry-rigged sniper rifle, with the stock and guard made from wood, and the barrel melded from some old concrete he found back in the other town. He himself didn't have any powers, so that didn't come in handy, so it was right back to the drawing boards. James was left with a ratty old towel, and Father, with his stupid sniper rifle, a rusty knife, and a heavy stick. Thankfully, despite their constant wandering, they didn't come across too many monsters - and the smaller ones that they did come across, were quickly taken out by Father, or completely avoided, utilizing the man's incredible stealth skill.

It was around the time of when James reached the age of three, did things finally change. Now, for the other two years of his baby life, James hadn't said a word. Not a word. It didn't help that they were surrounded by danger at every cost, and that his Father only said the occasional cuss word every once and a while. It was bound to do something to his voice, or, at the very least, injure his thorax. Father hadn't really cared- he only carried the baby around due to stupid morals, and he wasn't a medic anyways. So, it was rather surprising when, at the age of 3 years old, whilst Father carried James through a treacherous forest with trees that had eyeballs, James finally said his first word. It was 'fok'. Literally...'fok'. Father was astounded, completely ignoring the fact that his first born child cussed for his first word. No, what astounded him, was that, as soon as the word was said, James seemed to be a completely new baby. He was more active, he could walk, and he had waaaay too much strength in his grip. Turns out that, instead of a cuss word, 'Fok' was the word that all half-Daemons uttered whenever they gain control of their vocal strands, and it was also the word to jumpstart their 'power' and 'brain process'. James' mother was a female, humanoid Daemon, after all.

After his 'awakening', if you can even call it that, Father finally began training his son. At the age of 5, James was forced through rigorous physical, mental, and excruciating training that spanned on and on for 24 hours a day. He had his skin sliced open, only for it to heal and grow calloused and stronger. His bones broken, just so that they can meld back a few days later, stronger than before. He experienced pain beyond belief, and nightmares beyond what you could even imagine, just so his mind could grow a mental defense against psychological fears. All of this...at the age of five and upwards. Father was a slave driver, a calloused man, and, in some ways, cruel, cold, and evil. He wanted his son to grow strong, even though he didn't have any interest in the boy's life before his 'awakening'. James grew up in this type of environment...training with every type of weapon available to him at the time, under the experienced eyes of his father. With his new skills and physical sharpness, the boy hunted for the two, taking on mercenary quests, and becoming the warrior his father molded him to be.

That is...until, at the age of 15, James finally snapped under the pressure, and killed his father in cold blood. Over the years, due to James' mercenary work, they had acquired quite the wealthy wallet, and the boy finally found it in his heart to...kill his old man. He felt absolutely nothing from it. Later on, after disposing of the man's body, James decided that he needed a new identity. A new start. A new life. And thus...Grave was born, named after the shoddy grave he made his father, in the destroyed town he was born in. Life continued on, with the name 'Grave' being feared throughout the lands - because of the high-classed, high-risk missions he seemed to take like drugs, and the pure mystery surrounded his form. No one knew how he looked, as the man kept on the custom armor and cloak/hood that he apparently made himself. Hell, barely anyone even knew how his form looked, period. The man was like a ghost. He just wasn't seen - there were mostly only rumors on his appearance, as fenced by the occasional wealthy businessman Grave took quests from.

Finally, at the age of 23, Grave found Kalli. He has been doing missions there for a year, give or take a few months, mostly because of the steady income, and the challenge the quests provides.

Powers:
Grave's powers aren't as flashy as most, but they are just as, if not moreso, dangerous. His senses, physical ability, and general self is enhanced to above supernatural limits. To explain in a bit more detail...

His senses are all increased to high levels. He has the eyes of a cyborg, basically, being able to see figures in pure darkness, just as well as he can see things in the daytime. His natural eyesight allows him to see things in crisp, high-definition vision, even if they are a mile or two away.

His strength, speed, and agility are all at increased levels. Strength-wise, he has shown that he can lift above five tons with minimal strain, and handle the recoil of his high-powered sniper rifle with absolutely no budging or snaps. Speed-wise, he can move at cheetah speed full-kilt, which is around 70 to 80 mph, and has him resembling a blur. Agility-wise, Grave's brain moves at a speed that's reminiscent to his actual sprinting prowess. His arms are a blur as he moves through motions at astounding agility, and the man seemingly has the reflexes of a lashing whip, as he has been seen dodging and twirling around bullet rounds.

Weapons:
Plasma Blades - Simply two pure black, smooth, and thin hilts until squeezed. Once squeezed, two glowing blue lasers, long extremely hot to the touch, is jutted from the hilts. The true extent of their 'power' is unknown, but they are shown to be feather-light, and at least stronger than steel, being able to cut through most material as if it was knife through butter, and block/redirect projectiles and other weapons.

Plasma Pistols - Two pistols, tuned to fire streams of pure, unadultered blue plasma. It must be reloaded with small, glass capsules of raw plasma, but it only needs to be reloaded once every two blue moons. Not really. But it doesn't run out of plasma quickly.

Sniper Rifle - One of Grave's most prized possessions, and also one of his favorite weapons. An incredibly intricate piece of work that weighs much more than an average man, meaning that it's generally unusable to anyone that doesn't possess enhanced strength. It silently fires out long, thin blue needles made of solidified blue plasma, like all of Grave's weapons. It's best used at long range, and the pure stopping fire power of this gun is astounding.

Knife - Nothing too special about this one. A dozen or so back-up knives, hooked to his right and left legs, just in case he needs 'em.

Other than the above-listed weapons, Grave doesn't keep much else on him. He has a few grenade pellets, but they are mostly used for escape opportunities, or for ambushes.

Interesting Equipment:
He has a full capsule of smoke pellets, which are, like his grenade pellets, only used for certain situations. His armor would also be listed as 'interesting'. It's light-weight, easily maintained, considering it was made by him, and made with looted Kevlar, allowing it to be bullet-proof to most low-caliber rounds, and protective against claws and swords. He has a few knick-knack gadgets as well, but they're still being created and tinkered on. One, in particular, is a custom-made dark blue rune he has on his right glove. By squeezing his right hand, and activating the rune, his hand is emblazoned in fiery blue energy. So far, he hasn't made any discoveries with this rune, other then having it linked to his vehicle, and being able to throw orbs of harmless energy at things. It's quite funny to watch, though.

It's called the Void Digger, and it's super sw33t, yo. Thing can accelerate to above 100mph after squeezing the gas, and it has a few built in technology junk. Squeezing the left handle blasts plasma rockets from between the two split parts you can see in the front, and the vehicle moves around by levitating, not using wheels...because it has none. It's materialized from a dark blue rune he keeps on the palm of his right glove. Squeeze yo' hand, form an orb of artificial blue flames, throw dat 'shizz on the ground, and bam, the Void Digger's right there, revving and ready to go.

That's the description, at least. Custom-built by Grave himself. He can build others. Thinkin' 'bout making an anonymous business for custom weapons and vehicles one day. Maybe.

Avalant's characters:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gender:
Female

Name:
Alysia Tavar

Age:
19

Background info:

While other cities and nations desperately relied on the heroes of their lands to push back the menace, the city of Schickunstein had a very, very different solution. Schickunstein was an industrial, militaristic state, that has always relied on slave labor to support the massive needs of its immense industrial complexes. When the Monsters broke through the walls, slaves were throne into combat, much like one would throw rabid dog into the cage of a lion. Hundreds of thousands died, essentially flinging themselves against the wall of giants from the forests, but one group, one small group of slaves, seem to prevail. They earned the name "The Mortona Soldiers" after their owner's name, and they seemed to have great skill in taking the beasts down. As other official guilds stepped in and pushed them back once and for all, the Mortona Soldiers were used in other operations, both against monsters......and humans.....

You see, during the crisis, Schickunstein still planned its conquest of its neighbors while doing what ever any good enemy would do... Appear friendly. When the time came to stab everyone in the back, the city-state was ready. Many years after the rampage of the beasts, Schickunstein struck out against its neighbors in an all out war. Naturally everyone was caught off guard, expecting that the massive war machines and forces of their neighbor were assembled to fight the true threats beyond the walls. Around that time, Alysia was ten. The Mortona Soldiers, while receiving higher treatment, still remained slave warriors and as such, Alysia was born into that new line of slaves. They still wore their explosive collars and still were looked down upon by their masters. When she turned ten, Alysia was essentially forced into a "Spartan" type training with other girls and boys of her age born from slaves of the Mortona Soldiers. She watched as her fellow slaves died around her in their training, but by the time they were fifteen, a call went out.

Schickunstein had not anticipated that their neighbors would be able to bounce back, but the neighboring kingdoms and such called in their allies and soon it was all against one. The new Mortona Soldier recruits were hurriedly pushed into service and began special operations against the enemy. Much of this time was almost a blur to Alysia, a time to forget. Too many innocents slaughtered, too many friends killed, all in the name of the very people she despised. She learned of the world outside of Schickunstein's walls during this time, learned what she was missing, what she desired. The war came to a cataclysmic end when an enemy state was able to lure monsters to the city of Schickunstein and cause a breach in their defenses. The city that had once been a mighty industrial slave state had suddenly been turned into a ruined wasteland by the sudden occupation of the monsters. Many died or fled, and with the city's entire system in collapse, Alysia made her escape.

From then on, she became a monster hunter, hoping that in her line of work, killing another human being would be a hell of a lot less likely. She wants to save people now, not hurt them, Despite her collar being disarmed and offered to be remove, she still wears it around her neck as well as her very unique yet recognizable uniform. It reminds her of a time where she was not free. A time she hunted people and monsters. Somethings you need to remember, not forget.

Powers:
-Increased Bone/Muscle Density-
She can fall from higher heights, take stronger punches, and jump and hit harder in return. Her bones and muscles are much more dense than your average Jo, allowing her to jump much higher and run much faster than normal while internal injury such as bruising, muscle pulling, and even the breaking of bones is vastly decreased. She can fall from twenty feet and land feet first without so much as spraining an ankle. She does not have super human strength however, more like super human durability.

-Frequency Manipulation-
She can change the rate at which molecules vibrate, causing any area or object in her grasp to change density and become unstable. In less sciency terms, she can heat stuff up violently or cool stuff down, particularly nasty when applied to humans. The palm of her hand must be touching the surface of the object, however, and only as an effective range of around four meters from wherever she places her hand.

-Energy Projection-
She can create solid state material made from pure energy. Essentially creating hardlight shields that can withstand a variety of projectiles, depending on the situation. Depending variables determines the size, strength, and how long the shield will stay up. For example, a tank fires a shell at her, she can very briefly stop the shell, but she will not be able to create another energy shield for some time.

Weapons:
-P2 Songbird Energy Rifle-
Fires compressed bolts of energy, good for piercing hard armor and flesh. Has the range of any typical rifle and has a semi auto firing rate. The actual firing rate depends on how the user is pacing the shots. If fired in rapid succession, it could overheat. Unlike plasma weapons, the energy is much more condense, meaning higher penetration and longer ranges, but lacks the splash damage and simplicity of plasma weapons.

-Steed-04 Revolver-
A 12.7mm, nine shot revolver that can punch holes in vehicles. It is a deadly close to long range weapon, however its recoil is quite powerful. If it wasn't for how strong and trained Alysia is with the weapon, it would be very hard for someone to use it effectively.

-Crysis and the SK-72 Combat knives-
-Top Blade-
"Crysis" is Alysia's main melee combat weapon. Forged like a katana, it is a single edge blade that can easily cut through most materials due to the edge and construction of the blade. The common joke surrounding these types of blades is that they don't need any magical enchantment to make them cut through the strongest of steels. The blade is also incredibly durable, requiring little sharpening, though she still does sharpen her blade regularly as it seems to calm her down.
-Bottom Blades-
As seen in this image and her appearance, she keeps many knives on hand in multiple places. This is the main type of knife she uses. Double edged, fixed blade that is also balanced properly for throwing if needed. While more skilled with her katana "Crysis", Alysia is still fairly skillful in her handling of these multipurpose blades. She keeps around nine of these things on her.

Interesting equipment:
-The Mask-
When in any operation, she wears her mask. It contains optics that can zoom in like binoculars and night vision while the mask itself can protect her from toxic gases. Her home city-state is now a very toxic ruin as the air pollution was bad enough when the place was a thriving city. She does not wear outside of operations generally.

Personality:
To be revealed in the RP!

Hunter rank:
Due to the fact that she has only started officially hunting for a few years now, she is a B class hunter, but rising.

Other:
She only just recently has joined this particular guild. A bit of a new girl of sorts.

StarInABox's characters: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name - Geos

Age - No one really knows. He looks to be a child, but his intelligence surpasses most all individuals.

Gender - Male

- Weapons/Abilities -

Fire Gloves - Geos has invented a pair of highly flammable gloves out of a material that is able to burn forever. On the backs of the fingers of the gloves are small, flat flintstones, that when rubbed together, ignite the gloves instantly. Underneath the initial layer of fabric is a layer of heat resistant rubber.

Teleportation Module and T.E.R.A. - Geos's Teleportation Module allows him to convert his dormant stored energy in to a huge burst of kinetic energy, propelling him in any direction of his choosing. However, while testing the device, he noticed that the rapid loss of stored energy nearly killed him. In response to this near lethal feature, he built a Teleportation Energy ReAbsorbation device, abreviated T.E.R.A. The device converts the kinetic energy used to propel him back in to stored energy for his body. Geos is in a vulnerable, immobile state for about 2 seconds after teleporting because of T.E.R.A.

Smartbombs - A small, versatile, cone shaped explosive. A Smartbomb can anchor itself in to an object by opening it's cone bottom to form a sort of grappling claw after being pushed in to something. A Smartbomb can be set to explode after a time limit, or set to explode upon impact after being thrown. Somehow, Geos is able to carry an unlimited number of these explosives.

Star - Star is Geos's personal android. He's mostly used as a conversation partner, but he's also been programmed to fight monsters. He is able to fire small bursts of electricity, and fights in the same manner as Geos does. Star is also fitted with a Teleportation Module and T.E.R.A.

Geos's Fighting Style - Geos is in no way trained in any form of combat. His style is very hit-and-run-esque. Rush in via teleportation, punch or kick a target with surprising strength for his size, then move away via teleportation once again. Without his Teleportation Module, Geos is slow and uncoordinated. He also uses Smartbombs, throwing them at enemies while they are set to explode upon impact.

- Back Story -
Geos, one day, woke up in a small cabin. He had no recollection of anything before that. The only memory he could retain was his name, and a wide knowledge involving machinery. The cabin Geos had woke up in seemed to be home to an inventor of sorts. Various gadgets and tools were strewn around the room in a disorganized fashion. So, with his mysteriously present knowledge of machinery, he did the one thing he knew how to do: create. In about 2 weeks, Geos had manufactured his Fire Gloves, Smartbombs, the Teleportation Device, T.E.R.A., and Star. He had never left the cabin, not once, completely fixated on creating in that two week period. He did not eat, sleep, and he himself doubted that he even blinked. After that two week period, a monster roamed in to his cabin. A small, completely black rodent, that devoures pretty much all of the place while Geos and Star were out testing an invention. Geos came back to find his cabin in shambles, the rodent the only thing left besides the wooden floor. He quickly dispatched the rodent, but afterwards, a fiery rage grew inside of him. The one thing he had ever known destroyed by some rat. After that incident, Geos decided to devote his time time killing monsters with the inventions he had on him.

Hunter Rank - Not part of a guild yet.
