[img=http://i.imgur.com/74SiS5S.png] Some time passed, and the Ragged Brotherhood members managed to gather every villager (that was found) on the beach. The Ragged Cultist whom Aedius asked to call Arkya had also been asked to bring him the wooden board he left on the boat. It was given to Aedius by The First, in the event that they would have trouble finding out who the leader was. The wooden board had a picture of the village leader pinned onto it, he tossed in on the ground, and told the civilians to get in a line behind it. When they had done that, he began to explain the cultists' actions. "I'm assuming that you're wondering why you're here." There was silence from the civilians. They didn't want to speak to the people who attacked their peaceful village for their own gain, although it didn't stop Aedius from continuing. "We, the Ragged Brotherhood, would like you; the citizens, to join us in unity. In doing so, you will receive our protection and a portion of our resources." The silence continued. "But to prove that you're capable of serving our lord The First, you need to abandon your old leader." Aedius glanced at the now-dead leader, and then pointed at the board which had the picture of the old man. "To prove your loyalty to us, step on his image." At first, nobody moved. Aedius suspected that they had to much respect for their original leader. So he raised the tension. "Alternatively...we could kill you." With that, the villagers slowly but surely took turns in stepping on the image. Halfway through this process, Aedius had an epiphany: He stopped the event, and gave a different demand. "Wait. It's to simple to step on an image and pretend you don't care" The villagers glanced at each other, although it wasn't easy to do so, as they were in a line. "Step on...his corpse." He said, pointing at the village leader.
