I was at work when the robbery took place, the building I'm in only has two floors and four apartments (I live on the ground floor) so there's reason to believe the culprits might know me enough to know that I wouldn't be around. Apparently, I'm not the only person in my town that has been robbed in the last couple of weeks, so there might be some hope that these robberies are related. Just waiting to hear back from the detective.

As for insurance, it honestly never occurred to me that as a tenant I could insure personal property. Given my finances I put a lot of things on the back-burner.
