I was wondering if there will be a posting order? Also, what is a reasonable amount of time that we could be given to respond before we are removed from the roleplay? That is unless you don't want to do something like that of course. I just figure from what I've seen in the past it's best to keep some deadlines unless you want everyone to be waiting on someone who just decided to drop out without warning. Also, how long do you expect this roleplay to last? I'm very much hoping for something long term if this turns out to be as interesting as I think it will. I know that dragging things out isn't always the best though.Again I'm very excited to get started and personally I can't wait to get into the story! :)
Players should be posting at least two to three times a week with at minimum, two to three solid paragraphs; multiple sentences, detail, explanation, interaction, what have you. While characters won't "die" they'll simply vanish as if they had other matters to attend to if they disappeared for a long period - I'll simply just move them along as the gamemaster and away from the other players. That said, given my schedule, players should post roughly every two days. This is largely because I work pretty extensive hours, but what time I have off I can write in. This roleplay will hopefully go for as long as people want it to and for as long as I can allocate time to events happening, which is easy enough since things are randomly occurring and or solving themselves on their own given the dice playing a factor. In short, a few things I think are worth making just into bullets:

Post at least twice a week as people are waiting on you. Fail to do so, get skipped. Disappear too long on the forums, disappear in game.[/*]
Post a solid two to three paragraph post; I get this isn't always easy or practical, but you can still note events or take a twist on what someone else says and elaborate.[/*]
If two characters are going back and forth in discussion, that's fine, but if someone interrupts in between, don't skip over them; include them because they're trying to include you.[/*]
Don't try to hustle events - let me try and play them out as a game master otherwise things are just going to fly by. Feel free to keep a plot moving however, just not pushing it.[/*]
The only reason we're not starting this weekend is that I am working from Friday to Sunday, with Monday being my first day off (and I work on a night schedule).
