No. Earth-like, set in a semi-steampunk technology era. I was hoping, through the power of freeform, that we as a player-collective could flesh out the world's former history through the IC. I find it works better that way, if people are given a degree of creative licence and responsibility over the plot and lore. 

This is just a draft by the way, and not the final product. It's here for feedback, suggestions and for me to revisit several times a day to see what else I need to include.
