Derek looked over at the man speaking to him and nodded. "Hello, I'm Derek. Of course. I can try to help but I've only gotten so far into the program.... Where's the cut at?" Derek shrugged his backpack off and began to dig in it, taking out a small first aid kit. I it were bandages along with hydrogen peroxide, medical tape, scissors, a thin wire for stitching and a needle as well as a bottle of aspirin. "If it's not too bad, we can just clean it up and put something on it... Now tell me about your head. Do you remember where you hit it? Is there any nausea?" Jade turned to see a young man walking up to the small group. She felt relieved with the fact that there weren't survivors, but there's was still an uneasy feeling in her stomach. "I'm Jade." She smiled at him but only for a brief moment, her attention being drawn back to the ocean. "Look. There's things in the water." She pointed towards the distance where the plane crash was, small dark objects visibly bobbing up and down in the water. She walked over to where the water met her feet and stopped. "They might have stuff to help us get by for the next few days or weeks." At this point, she was talking more to herself than to the others. Jade looked down at the water crashing into the shore and frowned, knowing she wouldn't go out to see and get them. "Maybe we can wait for them to wash into the shore." She turned and walked back to the group, her thoughts moving past the crash and thinking ahead, or maybe just catching up to what the others thought. "We need to gather everyone up and make some sort of camp site. There we can tend to each other's injuries and make some sort of plan.... And get out of this sun." She pulled her hair up in a bun, the heat had already began to make her sweat a bit and she didn't want her hair sticking to her face.
