And how do you define alignment? I'm going to assume you don't mean the DnD scale of Good-Evil and Lawful Chaotic. Politically, they're reasonably isolationist, but are looking to at least do some trade with nearby people. They are also traditionally in support of the overlord, though that does not necessarily reflect the people's opinion.
