His little ambiguous and ambitious speech followed by a complete inability to answer questions cemented Kali's impression of him as a thoroughly unpleasant person. Kali wouldn't mind taking out a contract on him after this business was done, but for the moment he was her boss. Fortunately reconnaissance and indirect action was right up her alley. These Puppetmasters seemed like a formidable enemy but Kali was confident that with her allies she could get the job done. 

No doubt eliminating a major player like the Puppetmasters would go a long way to padding her accounts and her reputation, getting on the good sides of the other Underworld bosses was always a plus.
