I'm sorry I'm not posting tonight, but was wondering if we can coordinate like, how we interact in here, before I post something? Do you want Jacob to just walk up to Asher, and be like "I know" and just go outside to talk to him. Spill coffee? Come over and just sit down and talk? I'd prefer to plan this out instead of just freestyling, and waiting for the next person to post to actually initiate the conversation, or something. August could possibly eves drop? If you guys have any better ideas, please, let me know, as I feel like mine are kinda weak, and thats why i'm asking.
In all truth it is however the character would like to approach is my opinion. Jacob, as a lycanthrope, can roughly "sense" Asher as a zoanthrope even though he is not a lycanthrope; it is an uncanny sense of something is off or different, that not everything is in order. One could attribute this general "knowing" to subtle things humans regularly don't utilize to such an extent like scent, or even posture. Small details like a zoanthrope's faint gold to their iris near their pupil are other subtle, otherwise unusual qualities another zoanthrope might accidentally pick up on. It isn't a supernatural sense, it is just an extent of unusual familiarity. In the case of August, a zoanthrope could find subtle clues about her scent, mannerisms, and the like unusual but not in a sort of familiar way - just a sense something is off. Digressing back to the point, I am not of the belief that it should be upfront and direct - just small things. The spilling of coffee, accidentally bumping into each other, a minor traffic accident in the parking lot, all sort of normal interaction. It could also just be as direct as Jacob staring at Asher or August, or giving either of them an unusual friendliness or approach, or doing the exact opposite and being uncharacteristically cold because that unusual feeling he'd receive about either is perhaps unnerving. At very worst if neither character opt to interact, I as the game master will just conjure up an accident (or incident) of the same level I described to sort of steer the characters into one another, even literally if need be. All in all, however you think Jacob as an individual would react to Asher or August is best given it is your turn to post, provided it isn't disruptive (as that isn't befitting of his aforementioned and described personality).
Are people still allowed to join?
Yes, that they are, and one slot remains; the first individual to be approved can fill that final slot as it is "first come, first served".
