ALU “No, we are not looking for a vampire…”she frowned, but Alu was not ready to give up on their best lead just yet. While it was not the most optimal situation, the demon wondered if she could still somehow find a way to convince the frightening vampire to let them inside. “We are looking for a magic user. I sense magic within this building, which is why we were led here. Will you still be willing to assist us? Perhaps one of your men noticed something.” she asked, trying her best to speak civilly with the intimidating vampire and not look as unsure as she felt. She just hoped that she did not somehow offend him and cause them to get attacked. But at the thought of an attack, Alu remembered that she had neglected to mention the most important part of their search. “Oh right! And a duck.” she nearly shouted, but an awkward pause followed her sudden exclamation, and all she heard was the raindrops pounding against the mud. “Ah…we are looking for one of those, too…A specific one.” she added. “A vicious duck, most likely.” she guessed, figuring Prince Lucifel would not be any less aggressive or cruel just because he was turned into a bird. JECHT “What? I’m trying to get rid of the pest, and you’re worried about furniture at a time like this?!” he frowned back at Trixxtal, but instead of listening to him, all of a sudden he was acting friendly with Valente. Why was he letting him lean against his shoulder, and more importantly, why was Trixxtal letting the wizard even speak to him?! But in the blink of an eye, Valente somehow got ahold of the seamstress’ business card that he had put away where Trixxtal wouldn’t see it. “Stupid magic!” he shouted, but he couldn’t retaliate against the wizard because Trixxtal immediately glared at him with an expression that told Jecht they were about to get into another fight. Now Trixxtal was waving the stupid thing in his face, yelling at him over it. “The lipstick is just the logo for the shop. She’s not into me!” he denied immediately with obvious bullshit he came up with on the spot, also redirecting his anger away from Valente. Trixxtal getting bitten was the main reason Jecht became so furious, but now that he was arguing with him, Jecht hardly cared about Valente’s presence at the moment. He frowned at Trixxtal, irritated that the vampire had to overreact, like usual. “I didn’t show you, because I knew you would throw a bitch fit like you’re doing right now. But even if she was interested in me, who cares! It’s not like I give a shit about her feelings.” he retorted. And typical of Jecht, rather than trying to end the fight, he continued the argument instead. “You should stop being so fucking jealous.” He said hypocritically, since Jecht acted nearly the same way if he noticed anyone trying to flirt with Trixxtal. “And don’t you ‘after all we’ve been through’ to me! Actually, after all we’ve been through, you should know I won’t let some dumb bitch come between us. But do you have faith in me? No! I always have to put up with this bullshit despite being completely faithful to you.”
