Cadogan smiled, it was not a mocking smile, nor was it a smile filled with overpowering self confidence. It was a very sincere smile. [i]She trusts me. She actually sounds so sincere. Usually people wouldn't trust a drunkard making final adjustments to their armor...[/i] The Great Inventor nodded his head and very gently tapped Chii on the forehead with his index finger. "Everything will go just fine." He whispered and winked at the tiny dragoness before straightening up properly. Despite the smell of alcohol that hovered around the white haired man his eyes were clear, his hands did not shake even a little bit and his mind was obviously still very sharp. [i]You should have seen me when I fixed the Providence, that time I was drinking brandy and the damn thing worked even better than I had expected.[/i] Cadogan thought to himself as he began explaining all the runes and their workings to the judges. If someone was paying attention to his mannerisms and speech it would be obvious that he was exaggerating his drunkenness a bit.
