Lindemann walked to find the other girls confused like nearly everyone else in the room. "He's kidding right?" She said in denial. "It's some sort of ploy right?" She didn't have the courage to approach him either. Kartal left the waiting room without muttering a word, despair in his eyes. He was shaking as he walked out, nearly tripping over. The last matches have ended, allowing the fighters to rest for the day. Lindemann quickly got out her smartphone to find Kartal's record in the world tournaments. One thing that got her attention was the crushing defeat in the 7th World Tournament. The fighter who bested him was Aila Jykiainen, Finnish champion that used a customised Qubeley: Qubeley Papillon. Like how butterflies symbolise life or death, it was a death for him. Aila is unfortunately not here to help as she disappeared after the Arista overload that happened after the final match of the tournament. "Is this it?" It was then when Josef realised something. "Wait, he's the Hyperion user." He recognised. If it was him four years ago, he saw how a Hyperion was defeated instantly by a heavily customised Qubeley. "He's still shell-shocked from that?" Kartal walked slowly outside the stadium, obviously still shaken. There was the sea in front of him, blue and calm. He walked to the edge, leaning on a railing. There wasn't much to do but he didn't care.
