Emiliano was just settling down into his bed when a vampire servant came in and told him Azuriel was gone. Apparently the boy had escaped out the window when he left the room. Though he knew it would happen in a spirit like the boy's, the vampire felt a bit of anger beginning to rise within him. After all he had promised, the boy still wanted to run away, possibly erasing his chances of ever seeing his sister again!

"Follow his scent and bring him to me." With that, he sent the servant out into the night to catch the runaway slave. Emiliano knew his servant's speed would serve him well in this task. The vampire sat down in his lazy chair as he awaited his slave's return, trying to think of a good punishment.
