Kali noticed the explosive about a second before it went off. She didn't have time to curse but raised a biotic barrier to protect herself from the blast. She was blown into a wall and grunted, seeing the sniper aim a gun at her. She twisted to the side as the gun fired and a round buried itself in the wall next to her head. [i] That was close [/i]. Kali threw a pull at the Sniper but he rounded the corner and it missed. Kali got on her feet and swung around the corner to see the man gone. Kali cursed and shook her head. The guy was good. And Kali had to be more careful next time. Next time she might not be so lucky. 

Kali sighed as she responded, "Negative. He laid a trap and tried to rub me out. He rabbited as soon as it failed. Left no trace. Heading back now. Did we find anything on Yarsin?" Kali privately commed Alexa, and she restrained herself from letting her worry into her voice. She blinked a little at that. She was worried? She hook her head and said, "Alexa, how are you holding up?" Kali listened as she made her way quickly back to the plaza, her mind set on revenge.
