The urban jungle that was now his home was rotten. Buildings crumbled and old rusting cars clogged the once busy streets. It reeked of death, sorrow and despair. Rage huffed and spat at the ground. The rain did little to help the already depressing visage of the ruined city scape. If anything it only added to the doom and gloom. Humans in a quest to cure their own ignorance were responsible for all of it. Destruction of an entire city district and thousands of lives.. as well as those surviving in the misery. Rain washed the drying blood from his claws and fur as he stuck his hand out from underneath the awning that covered part of the balcony. It joined the drops on the balcony floor, mixing in with the water before slipping out onto the street below via drainage hole. A remnant of the last human that he'd slain just last night. Rage snarled at the thought of the now very dead man. He stood there watching the rain from the balcony in the abandoned apartment that he'd procured on the third story of a crumbling complex. It was one of the few residences that had all of its walls mostly intact. His sharp eyes and keen sense of smell picked up several other hybrids down in the street, strolling through the rain as if they were enjoying themselves. Rage scoffed at this and lowered his hand. After everything that has happened. After everything they took away from the Hybrids… these people were smiling and laughing? His hands clenched into fists and he put one through the wall by the balcony door before turning on his heel and grabbing his jacket on the way out the door.
