[center][u][b]The Treaty of Rotterdam[/u][/b] [b]Article I.[/b] The region of Flanders, in full, including the city of Brussels, is hereby recognized by all signatories to be a constituent territory of the Kingdom of the Netherlands; the region of Wallonia, in full, is hereby recognized by all signatories to be a constituent, demilitarized territory of the French Empire. [b]Article II.[/b] All signatories shall endeavour to support Prussia's efforts towards the unification of the German nation. [b]Article III.[/b] All signatories shall recognize the territories appropriated to Italy by the Peace of Venice as constituent territories of the Kingdom of Italy. [b]Article IV.[/b] All signatories hereby recognize all provisions of the Treaty of Constantinople not dealing with land transfers as illegitimate, and agree to immediately strike such terms from existence. [b]Article V.[/b] All signatories hereby recognize Andorra as constituent territory of the Kingdom of Spain, and agree to grant the Kingdom of Spain total hegemony over the territory of Morocco. [b]Article VI:[/b] The territory of Malta will be transferred to Spanish administration, and be recognized as being under Spanish sovereignty. The territory of Ionia will be transferred to Italian administration, and be recognized as being under Italian sovereignty. [b]Article VII:[/b] The territories of Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten, Saba and Suriname, in possession of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, shall be transferred to British administration and be recognized by all signatories as being under rightful British sovereignty. All areas of Russian sovereignty on the American continent will be purchased by the United Republic of Great Britain and Ireland for a sum of £1,000,000 ((OOC: £1,000)). [b]Article VIII:[/b] All signatories hereby agree that the lands of south-west Africa, defined as ranging south from the Portuguese Overseas Province of Angola to the city of Capetown, will be open to British colonization; aforementioned lands are recognized by all signatories as being under rightful British sovereignty. [b]Article IX:[/b] A non-aggression pact spanning a length of five years will hereby exist between all signatories as of the completion of the signing of this treaty; conflicts between signatories during this period will be mediated through international arbitration, in the interest of long-standing peace and security for the sovereign nations of Europe.
