Robyn was born to Percival and Corynn Voss. Born in the small crossroads town of Damascus, which lay at the crossroads of Faycrest, Rayacre, and the port town of Gig Habour, she and her family made a small living with their meager earnings. Her father, Percival, realized early on that his daughter bore a gift of the god Nicosa. He was adamant on not allowing that information to leak out, not even telling his own daughter of her abilities.

The family owned and operated a small general store in the crossroads town, mostly dealing with traded goods from the port just up the road before they hit the cities. Robyn worked as a storehand in the family business for most of her childhood, but was becoming quickly interested in all the various herbs and medicines that passed through their shelves from across the land. Her mother, Corynn, was a talented alchemist when it came to making medicines and quite adept in magic, although she never made that public. Robyn learned her mother's arts and although she was decent in the use of magic, she really excelled in medicine. It was then her mother broke the news that it was no mere coincidence she was a natural in medicine.

Her parents died of natural causes only a few years later, leaving her unwed with a store to manage by herself. The situation was not ideal in any sense. She maintained the store but slowly turned the focus to medicine and healing and found herself quite adept as her mother had spoken years earlier. She eventually switched the entire focus of the store to a small clinic to which she used her gift openly. She eventually gained quite the reputation for her medical abilities from the locals and tradesmen that frequented the town.

Robyn is quiet and meek by nature. She spends most of her time reading and taking notes on the latest concoction or herb. She is best described as shy, but has also been known to, on a rare occasion, be quite persistent.
